Private Mountain Bike Lessons On Long Island, NY

First session with Mike today. Became obvious right away that he has a lot of experience teaching riders of different abilities and experience levels, and loves doing it. He quickly gauged where I was in my skills, and what I needed to work on. His explanations and demonstrations where spot on, and I could feel things clicking, in my head and on the bike! Plus, super chill guy, positive, encouraging, a pleasure to spend time with! Can't wait to get out there to practice my corners, and then book another session!

I have taken both Group and Private sessions with Mike. Mike is so informative and patient. I learned so much from his sessions. After, I take one of his classes I am eager to go to another trail afterwards! I incorporate his sessions into my training and race schedule. I believe and trust in Mike’s abilities so much that I even have sent my 20 year old daughter for private lessons. He has built up her confidence and riding abilities. No matter what age you are there is NO stopping you! I highly recommend Mike’s Classes. You won’t be disappointed.

Mike is a class act and a fantastic instructor. Did my first class with him one on one and learned a lot of things that I never even thought about in the areas of body mechanics, bike/bidy separation, and so on. Second clinic I did was with a buddy of mine and some of our kids. Mike was equally great with the kids, and the kids had a blast. Cannot recommend Flow Lines enough!

If you are on Long Island and you are looking for some mountain coaching (new or experienced) reach out to flowlines. Been mountain biking for one month and feels like they took my riding to the next level. They went over all the fundamentals and help correct issues in my form. They noticed I was progressing pretty fast in the lesson and was able to focus on more advanced pumping and corning techniques. On top of learning and leveling up I had a great time. Mike is an extremely genuine and super rad individual. Looking towards my next session with them. Once again I highly recommend flowlines for coaching.

Mike was awesome one-on-one, I set that up because I knew I'd be taking a group class and didn't want to be too far behind a group that had already learned a lot. Got to the group class prepared and had a blast, learned quite a bit while among five others because it was organized so well. There was no stopping and waiting for each person, he had it set up so that we were all moving and grooving the whole time. Highly recommend.

Had my first session with Mike and it was such an awesome experience and great introduction into how to ride with skill and confidence. Mike is down to earth, personable and very knowledgeable. He made the whole experience that much better. Can't wait to get back and grown and progress even more.

I have been taking Mike’s class 3 times already and I am planning to stick with it. There is always skills to be learned, to be perfected or to do safer..and Mike has the experience and the patience to help anyone do just that. Plus, he is super nice (which doesn’t hurt ) and that make the sessions even more enjoyable. And by the way, I am 49, so YES this is for ALL ages! Ride on!

What an awesome experience! Mike lives and breathes mountain biking. He loves teaching and does a fantastic job of teaching essential skills to become a better rider. The trails at Meadowlark are terrific for working on these skills. Thank you so much!

Mike did a great job going over body positioning, braking, cornering and more. We spent time working on drills and then went into the woods and hit some trails to apply our skills. I can't wait to get out and ride and use my newly acquired skills. When was the last time you actually worked on your bike skills? Just take a lesson.

After two private lesson noticed a tremendous difference in my riding style. So glad I called Mike before I got entrenched into bad habits. Mike knows his stuff. Looking forward to the next lesson so I can take new moves out on the trail!
